Emergence issues are being reported in Western Canada with certain InVigor canola hybrids, an emailed June 27 statement from BASF said.

The statement noted certain InVigor canola hybrids may be encountering various challenges that could be hindering crop establishment this season in select geographies across Western Canada. BASF also said they have created a dedicated team to examine possible contributing factors.

“BASF is dedicated to supporting growers with the agricultural guidance and solutions to help them achieve success on their farms. BASF will provide an update regarding its review as soon as possible,” the statement said.
