by | Dec 7, 2020 | News

A new website has been launched for Alberta’s Crop Protection Guide, commonly referred to as the Blue Book, the Alberta Barley, Alberta Canola, Alberta Pulse Growers and the Alberta Wheat Commission, say in a news release on Dec. 7.

“The winter planning season for the next crop year is well under way and to be able to have this resource is extremely valuable,” John Guelly, the chair of Alberta Canola, says in the news release. “I’m very proud of the effort that our commissions have put into making this resource available in such a timely fashion.”

The website can be found at albertabluebook.com. Pre-orders for the 2021 Blue Book can also be done on the website, with copies to be shipped in March 2021. People can also sign up for the email list on the website, to receive updates and news about the Blue Book.

The producer commissions had previously announced they would be taking over publication of the Blue Book from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry.
