Kevin Serfas from Turin, Alta. has been elected as chair of the board of the Alberta Canola Producers Commission at the association’s annual general meeting which was held online on Jan. 26, the group says in a news release.
Roger Chevraux from Killam, Alta. was elected as the new vice-chair. Justin Nanninga from Neerlandia, Alta. replacing outgoing director John Guelly.
Guelly joined the board in 2015 and served on a variety of committees, including time as chair of the research committee and the governance and finance committee, the release says. He also served as vice-chair for one year and as board chair for two years.
