Ward Toma to Retire from Alberta Canola

After 23 years as the general manager of Alberta Canola, Ward Toma is retiring at the end of May, an email from Alberta Canola says.

The email notes Ward has guided the commission since March 1, 1999 and played a pivotal leadership role in the Canadian canola industry, extending far beyond the borders of Alberta.

Roger Chevraux, the chair of the board of director says a search has begun the search for a new General Manager, and they’re confident Alberta Canola employees will ensure a seamless transition.
