2024 Performance Variety Trials

The annual Performance Variety Trail program provides information on cereal, oilseed and pulse variety performance important agronomic characteristics and disease resistance information with the goal of assisting farmers in selecting field crop varieties best suited to a specific geographic, or environmental area as well as for different management practises. The variety trials for each crop type have been managed by different entities within Alberta and Western Canada. Please refer to the specific crop type tables for details. Please note the canola regional variety trials have been discontinued and the most recent data is from 2022.
