WheatStalk Returns for 2022 Growing Season

WheatStalk is back for the 2022 growing season with events happening in Magrath and St. Albert, a May 24 email from the Alberta Wheat Commission and Alberta Barley, said.

The two day agronomic conference will feature presentations from Alberta Wheat and Barley’s Jeremy Boychyn speaking on “4R Nutrient Stewardship – What does it mean?”, Alberta Wheat and Barley’s Sheri Strydhorst speaking on “Advanced Variety Management”, along with many other industry experts. Attendees will learn about agronomic research from experts and walk through various trial plots.

The southern Alberta WheatStalk will happen in Magrath on June 28, while the north-central event will happen on August 4 in St. Albert.
